Andrey Ivanovich is the great grandson of the famous Romanian composer Ion Ivanovici.

He received his musical education from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Russian Academy of Music (Moscow) and the Musical High School in Karlsruhe (Germany).

He has won numerous international competitions. From 1992 - 1994, he won first prize as pianist six times and in 1994 he won the Grand-Prix and Gold Medal in the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati (USA).

In 1996, A. Ivanovich made his successful debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. This success, together with Ivanovich's successes at competitions, was a good start to his tours in Russia and abroad (Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Finland, Portugal, USA, Greece).

A. Ivanovich is at present not only a performer, but also an associate professor at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.
